Victoria Beckham's Burberry Lip Gloss!

Victoria has always been one of my fashion icons. I have a huge admiration for her in general as well. I love how she is always glamorous and will never show up looking tired and untidy. Victoria knows exactly what her strengths and weaknesses are, and knows how to hide her flaws and highlight her best features.

I recently found a blog which is dedicated to the Beckhams only and got obsessed with Victoria's style again. As you might know by know, I am an absolute beauty junkie, so of course, I noticed those gorgeous glossy pout, which Victoria Beckham is also famous for. I just had to find out what she was using on her lips, and I found that she revealed on Twitter that Burberry Lip Glow in No.9 Nude Beige and No.10 Nutmeg are her absolute must-haves, so I obviously got crazy excited and rushed to Harrods to get my hands on those. No.9 Nude Beige turned out to be the nude I've always used, but No.10 Nutmeg was more interesting and a little bit different. It's nude with a tiny hint of mauve. The shine of this lipgloss is unbelievable and so pretty, just like the Lancome Juicy Tubes minus the stickiness of the latest. I love the texture, it's very moisturising and feels light on the lips (reminds me of Clinique Superbalm). Hence, this Burberry Lip Glow has all the benefits of Lancome Juicy Tubes and Clinique Superbalm, but offers a more sophisticated packaging and more colour (the first two are very sheer).

I am sure VB applies a lip gloss on top of a lipstick and/or a lip liner. However, on the picture below, I just used the Lip Glow alone. It really gives me the most juicy and sexy lips I've ever had!

Kristen Steward in Roberto Cavalli

I'm not the biggest fan of Kristen Steward or the whole Twilight thing, but how perfect is this Roberto Cavalli dress she wore on the Breaking Dawn premier in London?

Hair Savers: Moroccanoil and Kerastase Serum!

I know I'm not the first one to rave about this product, but it is THAT good and unlike most worshiped  beauty products is indeed worth the hype around it. I know putting oil on your hair might sound greasy and volume-killing, but this product is truly amazing, and it does make a difference to the condition of your hair without weighing it down. The key is only putting it on the ends of your hair without touching the roots. I use it a lot, and can even put it on dry hair on the 2nd day after washing it (I actually put it on everyday), and it will still not make my hair greasy. I bought the travel size bottle in summer, but forgot it in my hotel. I thought I'll be ok without it, but realised my hair really missed it and bought another bottle the other day, and am again very happy about it!

Another product that works very similar to Morocanoil and is as wonderful is Kerastase Nutri Sculp Serum. The differences are: 1) this is a serum, not an oil; 2) it is particularly good for treating split ends. So if your hair is not that dry, but you have split ends, than this serum will probably be better for you. It is truly the lightest, but the most efficient serum I have ever used (even better than the iconic John Frieda Frizz-Ease, which was greasy and weighed my hair down). The secret is to cut your ends first, and only then start using this product. Your hair will grow healthier and split ends-free! I passed this secret on to my friend, who also had problems with split ends. She confirmed the amazing results! Hope this will help you, too! xx

Shampoo+Conditioner Combo

When it comes to hair products I am definitely not the type, who can be loyal to the same range for years. I don't know maybe it's because I haven't found my 'perfect match' yet, but I am constantly trying new products and am always looking for something even better. And I've tried almost everything: from Kerastase to Pantene and Redken to Aussie. I even tried sulphate free shampoos from Naked (which I find even harsher, than sulphate containing ones). I never thought a shampoo and a conditioner could really make a difference, I always believed it's more about what masks and leave-in conditioners you use. Until now.
I have recently bought Aveda Smooth Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner. This magic very gently washes my hair and makes it soo silky and pleasant to touch afterwards! My hair is very very damaged because of all the colouring and perm I have made it go through, and my ends are extremely dry and brittle. I can't say that my hair instantly looked healthier, but it's been so much softer and less dry (Moroccanoil helps as well ;)). I really can't stop touching it now! Another bonus is that my hair stays clean for longer. I usually wash it every other day, but with the Smooth Infusion shampoo I can go another day without washing it, and it takes a tiny amount of the product to lather, hence, one bottle of this shampoo will last you much longer than others. It also makes me happy knowing that this shampoo is sulphate-free, which assures me I am being good to my hair. However, I have to point out that the smell could have been better.

Another Shampoo+Conditioner Combo that has really impressed me was from the Redken Real Control range. Redken's shampoos are not sulphate-free, but are more gentle to my hair (I have also tried Scalp Relief when my scalp was very irritated) than those sulphate-free that I've tried from Naked. Redken Real Control smelled better than Aveda Smooth Infusion and also made my hair super soft and happy! (Can hair be happy? I think mine can :)))
