Chanel Jacket

What girl doesn't dream of a Chanel jacket (except its lucky owners)? However, even though it's timeless and chic, I always thought of it as a little bit too boxy and ... (I'm sorry, Coco Mademoiselle) granny. Some girls can really pull it off, however, I think it would probably make me look 10 years older. That said, I am still a huge fan of a Chanel tweed jacket and definitely plan to get one in the future. I was recently watching the 4th season if the Rachel Zoe Project, and her Chanel jacket was PERFECT! I love its classic colour, modern fit (not boxy, but waist-skimming) and the beautiful fringe details on the sleeves. Thank God, I haven't seen it in stores, otherwise my bank account would never get 'healthy' :)

These are screenshots of the show, hence the quality. If you want to have a better look at the jacket here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zim6g-YoT_s&feature=related (fast forward to 10:33)

Natalie Portman for DiorSkin Forever

Tom Ford Crimson Noir

I got this lipstick the other day after seeing it a couple of times in different magazines and being all excited about Tom Ford new beauty range. Now I simply can't get enough of it! I go to bed in the evening praying for the morning to come quicker, so I can put this wonderful lipstick on my lips again (surprisingly, I still have enough of a common sense not to go to sleep with make-up on). This lipstick feels so luxurious! It is nourishing on the lips, but is so lightweight you can barely feel you have anything on. And the colour... soo beautiful, and it comes off very evenly as well, unlike other red-toned lipsticks. Oh, and it doesn't bleed! It's absolutely hassle free! I love how sophisticated it looks and the fact that it never leaves my lips dry even though I do not use any lip balm underneath. Amazingly, in comparison to this Tom Ford's lipstick, all those from Dior, Chanel and YSL suddenly feel as drugstore products! This is definitely my choice of lipstick for this autumn/winter!

Beauty Trends I'll Be Rocking This Fall

As I came back to London from California, I realized my summer 'make-up uniform', which includes sun-kissed skin in pair with a splash of gold eye shadow and Nars Orgasm blush on my cheeks is no longer suitable. Going through tons of magazines I was inspired by of Fall 11/12 catwalk looks. I want to share my favourites with you.
I definitely loved different use of eyeliner: funky thick pencil at D&G and glamourous precision liner paired with dewy skin and nude lips at Gianfranco Feree and Dolce&Gabanna. One of the most interesting and fun trends were metallic eyes seen at Derek Lam and Chanel (extremely easy and quick to apply, but with a major impact). I also loved a splash of red/rubby on the lips at Diane Von Furstenberg, Giles and Gucci shows. And of course, no winter season is complete without the smoky eyes look. Dramatic eye make-up a with a tiny bit of bronze colour as seen on Roberto Cavali models work for me (minus the bronze part though, as this colour tends to make my eyes look tired). However, if I was asked which is my one favourite Autumn/Winter look of the season I would definitely say Emanuel Ungaro's and Lanvin's dramatic lashes, which stood out against flawless dewy skin and nude lips.
In terms of hair I will keep the braids that I loved in summer, but will wear it more messy as seen at Emilio Pucci.

Enjoy the pictures! xx

Delicate Jewelry

Lately I've been head-over-heels with delicate jewelry. You know how bold statement pieces have been having their moment for a few seasons now. The tiny jewelry is getting over though. A few celebs were spotted wearing delicate jewelry: Whitney Port, Mila Kunis, Demi Moore, Hayden Panettier and Jennifer Garner to list a few. However, it's Kourtney Kardashian's Charlotte Lu Diamond Star that made me fall in love and want to get one for myself. I'm just obsessed with how the delicate gold chain enhances her tan while the white star pops against it. The moment I noticed that necklace on her, I knew I had to get it! Kourtney actually has two: one with a rose gold chain and another with a yellow gold chain. She wears one or another and sometimes even puts them together. I got the Rose Gold Diamond Star with 14K rose gold chain and 0.06ct of diamonds and can't even think of wearing any other necklaces at the moment!

TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo

This is simply the best dry shampoo around. Don't even waste your time AND money to look for another one! I  tried dry shamppos from Ojon and James Brown, but a) the result is not as close to this one; b) they literally finish after two uses, which I find extremely confusing!
TRESemme Fresh Start (Instant Fresh for the USA) Dry Shampoo saves me whenever I do not have enough time for washing my hair, but need to look good. Greasy ponytails don't work for me. This dry shampoo smells and feels fresh. Plus, it gives you tons of volume. Many hair stylists use them on fresh hair to add that Oomph! and amazing texture. Just try it and you will never be without it again! :)

I'm back!

I know I haven't been blogging for a while, because I was on my crazy summer holidays. I will try my best not to leave such a big gap anymore. I am posting a few pictures from my holidays to share with you guys! I was lucky enough to travel so much this summer: I was in Moscow, St.Petersburg, London, Bath, California (LA, Fountain Valley, Beverly Hills), New York and Las Vegas. I spent quality time with my family, hung out with my very old friends from my childhood and met so many great new people! Oh, and one of the most important part of my holidays was my New York Fashion Week internship! I feel like the luckiest girls on Earth!
